Hoping to bust the corrupt mayor (Jeremy Renner) of Camden, NJ, a reckless FBI agent (Bradley Cooper) manipulates a con-artist couple (Christian Bale, Amy Adams) into an elaborate sting operation. Packed with wicked humor, outlandish characters, and a deliciously twisty plot, this (sort of) true-crime tale was nominated for ten Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Production Design.
