ABOUT THE SITE

As a Philadelphia-based cinephile, I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to check around the many, many different theaters in the area to see what cool screenings are happening around the city. Many of these aren’t even on the popular ticketing sites, or else some rep screening wouldn’t be listed! I thought, “What if there was a site that did all of that?” So… I made it!

Unlike those big ticketing sites, this website is meant to be used solely as an information gathering resource. I just want a place that you can get a birds eye glimpse at all of the wonderful options this area has for movie lovers, as opposed to a replacement for the theater websites themselves. I’ve made every effort to link to those sites at any given opportunity and would love anyone visiting Philm Source to head over to the theaters pages whenever they can! They’re really neat!

Philm Source is (currently) run by one person – me, Roxy! I will always try to make sure the information on here is as up to date as possible, but lapses and mistakes will happen, or maybe I’m just late.
