We are kicking off our second-annual Sci-Phi Film Festival with a 35MM screening of an out-of-this-world cult classic from the ‘90s. When a fleet of UFOs arrives on Earth, the President of the United States is quick to welcome them, but it doesn’t take long to see that these Martians do NOT come in peace. Tim Burton’s campy homage to sci-fi films of the ‘50s is a dark comedy that deserves to be seen in the theater with an appreciative audience. Featuring a star-studded cast including Jack Nicolson, Glenn Close, Annette Bening, Pierce Brosnan, Martin Short, Natalie Portman, Danny Devito, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Michael J. Fox.
Presented on a 35MM print courtesy of Exhumed Films. This 35MM presentation of MARS ATTACKS will include a short intermission before the final act of the film to accommodate a reel change.
Due to the costs associated with running archival 35MM prints at our theater, such as shipping, distribution rights, and staffing — there is a slight upcharge in pricing in order to accommodate these needs. Ticketing is General $17, Senior/Young Person $15, Member $12.
