The Secret Garden on 35mm
April 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:55 pm
In Partnership with the Ambler Arboretum
1993 – 1 hr 41 min – G
We have partnered with our friends from the Ambler Arboretum to bring a 35MM presentation of the sweet and dreamlike ‘90s classic, THE SECRET GARDEN, to the big screen. Our neighbors from The Ambler Flower Shop will also join us in the lobby at 6:15pm with an adopt your own succulent table! Credit card purchases will be accepted.
Based on the beloved novel, an orphaned girl is sent to England to live on her uncle’s lush country estate. While exploring the mysterious grounds, she discovers a neglected garden and recruits her cousins in its restoration. As the plants bloom, she discovers the garden possesses magical powers. Produced by Francis Ford Coppola and featuring Maggie Smith, this sophisticated fairy tale is one that viewers of all ages can enjoy. Presented on 35MM.
Before the film, join us for a special presentation courtesy of the Ambler Arboretum of Temple University.
Due to the costs associated with running archival 35MM prints at our theater, such as shipping, distribution rights, and staffing — there is a slight upcharge in pricing in order to accommodate these needs. Ticketing is General $17, Senior/Young Person $15, Member $12.
