A wealthy heiress (Catherine Burgess, CINDERELLA 2000) is drawn to an antique mirror in her attic that reveals childhood traumas and leads to a demonic otherworld. Surreal, disturbing, and intentionally anti-erotic, this lavishly produced horror classic remains an unclassifiable, one-of-a-kind experience for the cinematic adventurous.
The crew itself went on to make names for themselves in the horror business: filmmaker Jonas Middleton served as co-writer/producer of Jeff Lieberman’s JUST BEFORE DAWN, cinematorgrapher João Fernandes would shoot CHILDREN OF THE CORN and FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE FINAL CHAPTER and co-musicians Arlon Ober and Harry Manfredini would both go on to score some of the biggest horror hits of the 1980s and 90s.
